Meyer is starting to look like a keeper. Him and Nolasco make the Santiago trade look pretty good so far. Especially since Hector is a FA very soon.

Great slide again by Trout, to avoid the bat and the tag. The ball was there in plenty of time but Trout being Trout was safe.

I would have liked to see Meyer start the 6th inning. I know they're being cautious but..

They're bringing Meyer along slowly it seems. Pulling him after 5 innings with a 2 hit shutout and 7 Ks, to go with 3 walks.
