These games are huge for Seattle, fighting for a wild card spot.

It would be nice to put a crimp in their style and beat them tonight.

Good. It's so silly seeing some people here write him off after 50-odd ABs this year. He's a premium defensive talent who can play multiple positions, is under club control, is young and is cheap. Someone like that is worth giving a legitimate chance to.

I  was smart to stop looking at the standings when it became apparent that the pitching injuries would be something no team could overcome.

9 homers by Nelson Cruz against the Angels.  Wow.

I looked at the Pedro Moura article in the L.A. Times with the speculation over who would be back next year.  He thought CJ Wilson would not be back and Jared Weaver might.  Escobar has a club option.  Pitching will be in short supply again and some guys need to step up.

Alvarez warming up for the fourth, apparently. Trout saves Meyer's bacon on the 62nd pitch. Meyer gets nine outs. Wonder if he'll be back in the fourth?

Morins off speed delivery is so obvious. I've been calling every out pitch then checking the radar gun and you can see it so clearly.

And Walker is 15 for 15 on getting guys out so far tonight.
