Welcome to Angels Stadium, Mr. Wright. Your paper trail says you're more or less a 5-inning pitcher with a 5.00 ERA over your 94 minor league games and the 4 in which the Reds used you. Good luck tonight facing the Rangers. Shock the world and go six while being effective and not getting bombed. If you do that, maybe they'll invite you to Tempe in February.

so the fastball isn't very good, but the breaking ball is very good and the change is decent.  He needs to throw his off speed pitches for strikes.  Especially that breaker.  

Someone has to teach this kid how to pitch backwards and he might be ok.  

He needs to keep hitters from sitting on his fastball.

I feel like Marte is worse.  He's about as bad as I've seen.  He probably gives away 2-3 wins with his defense out there.

Yep that's probably true. Maybe if he devoted an offseason to it and got repeated starts in spring training there he could be passable but he looks totally out of his depth at the moment.

There's proof that instant replay in baseball is a complete joke. That was clearly off the bat but baseball doesn't like it's umpires being wrong.
