I think he will figure it out and be a top starter. His stuff looks too good. I am not saying Meyer is a Koufax, but only that Koufax was very wild his first couple of seasons in Brooklyn. He figured it out and became one of the greats. Again I'm not saying Meyer is a Koufax, only saying both were wild with good stuff to begin their careers.

Cowart has to learn not to swing at everything. If he doesn't the pitchers will not throw him anything near the strike zone. I may be his biggest supporter but I'm beginning to see a flaw in his approach and I'm not as savvy as major league scouts.

Cowart goes 0-3 with 3 K's and his avg. is down to .236 and dropping with a paltry .246 obp.

I just don't see what others do in him. Sure he packs a good glove..so what..the minors are full of good gloves.

Maybe with me ragging on him he'll go on a tear but I doubt it.

Hope he proves me wrong but I don't think he can hit.
