59 pitches in 3 innings must be all Oberholtzer is going to get today. Chacin is getting loose, apparently for the fourth. The most pitches Oberholtzer has thrown in a game this season is 64.

If our pitchers didn't suck so bad it would be nice to see one of them retaliate for Cowart.

I may be in the minority here, but I for one would like them to make an effort to bring Chacin back next year. We will have the need for pitching, he's still on the right side of 30, he's pitched really well in limited time in relief, and can spot-start. He's bounced around so much the last couple of years, that I think having some stability in his life may actually help him rebound a bit, after being a fixture in Rockies rotation for so long. 

I'd move Guerra up in the pen pecking order next year, and have Chacin sort of take his long relief spot.

With Street and Bedrock done for the year, Chacin should get plenty of chances in relief....
