Another major fire in SoCal

...close to where one was lady year,  in Devore. The 15 is closed in both directions as is the exit to the 138. It's called the Blue Cut fire. This is just after the fire in the Hesperia area was finally controlled.

Which one of the planes that you worked on yesterday caught on fire?

Still not as bad as the one in No Cal.  Biggest issue with this fire right now is it's along the power lines, so they can't do any drops.

Now it's heading west and Wrightwood is being evacuated. It's going to suck if those bark beetle infested pines start burning.

Pretty scary.  The wind is blowing away from my place but who knows.  I'm packed and ready to go but hanging out until I get the order, if it comes.

@Glen Hopefully the fires stay away from your area.  Sounds like the winds might decrease and the humidity will go up tonight which should be good news.

I just heard Evelyn Taft on Channel 9 say that the humidity out there is supposed to drop down to single digits tonight. I'm not sure how that works but I believe every word that foxy momma says.
