The importance of Trout staying can't be overstated. It's not easy to just put it out of the mind and pretend it isn't there.

I just realized Weaver faced 25 batters without striking anyone out. That's pretty rare but not quite as uncommon as I imagined it would be. Still, it's the first time in three years an Angels pitcher has faced 25 or more with zero strikeouts in a game. The list of Angels to have done it includes most of their mediocre to shitty starters in recent history, like Blanton, Chatwood, Palmer, Saunders, Sele, Callaway and Schoeneweis.
