In his last five starts Kluber is 3-0 with a 1.46 ERA while holding opposing batters to a .202 batting average. In his last start vs. the Angels on June 10, he pitched a three-hit complete game 6-2 victory.

We understand your two days in Chicago showed a mismatch. But don't give in to defeatism just because many or most of you couldn't make a cut for a roster spot on the Cubs, or even the Indians. That's an incentive to prove your worth in the upcoming off-season search for other employment.

Heck, one of you flops may be the next Matt Joyce.

Do any of you still watch the games? I currently don't have the time with work but I can't imagine spending time to watch these guys. It seems like it'd just be depressing.

I'd rather they be 18 games back than be in the thick of it and get swept by the team they're chasing in the last week of the season. 1998 ring a bell?

Those kind of years are devastating. This season, at least we can watch some young talent in September and think about rebuilding.

Yeah I'm thinking about that 2017 draft order, Mike Napoli can help the Angels with that if he hits some HRs off Chachi.
