Only 9 percent of the U.S. voted for Trump or Hillary in the primaries.

Well, to be fair.  If you are a dem in California you could only vote for Dems.  If you are Rep than only Rep.  If you are an Independent, you complain because 1/4 of those morons signed up for the American Independent party instead of as an independent.

At least on my ballot, I couldn't vote for any party because of my independent voting status.

I bet it's record lows. Both these candidates really do suck and many people just don't want to vote either of them in.

Record lows is probably good news for Trump.  That's the one trap that Hilary might get into.  If she takes the election as hers, her supporters may not show up.  Where as Trumps may take the call.

she's already alienated the berners, so it kind of depends on how many trump supporters show up.

If just one damn reasonable option was to announce a third party platform the two assholes would go down in flames.

agreed. Johnson is being very aggressive on Facebook to get his message and name out there, but the reality he won't have enough juice. i wonder what kind of shenanigans went on behind the scenes to keep Biden out of the race. i wonder why Romney didn't declare. i wonder, i wonder, i wonder . . .

In fairness, it's probably about 9% of the population that understands how a president gets elected.

That's the part where, if you drop the tennis ball, you have to race and touch the wall before your opponent gets control of the ball and throws it against the wall?  And if the throw beats you, you have to spread 'em while your opponent winds up?

In polls taken in the past few years, about 25% of the country don't even know who the vice-president is.

That's just the way Uncle Joe likes it.  Too much attention from the man ain't good for business, you hear?
