Yeah, it's totally Escobar's fault that he was sent home when he shouldn't have been and that Simmons struck out and that Calhoun was thrown out at the plate.

The ball was half way to the mound and he stood and watched them tag him out. Scioscia isn't the 3rd base coach.

Only thing that was Escobar's fault was that he didn't touch home and he had all day to do it, when the catcher dropped the ball. Is not that hard to get, but you have it your way I'm done with this play.

We have 5 hits and 0 runs. It's no wonder why we blow up all our young pitchers arms. They're always pitching under the pressure of no run support.

You are out of control. He was out the moment he was sent home from third. He doesn't have eyes in the back of his head, he doesn't know that the ball was dropped, he only knows that he has to do all he can to touch home plate. Once he falls down and rolls 10 feet past the base his only hope was that he had knocked the base when he went by it.

I think his point is that it wasn't Scioscia that waved him in, yet people want to blame him.

To his credit, Escobar looked like he did touch the plate and probably thought a challenge/replay would have sided with him. I don't think you could have slid in that situation the way his direction was toward home, and being a bit obstructed.

Skaags is a little wild and a high pitch count but no runs through 4 so that's all that matters.
