Didn't Hanley ruin Kershaw's perfect game a couple years ago? I seem to recall he threw the ball away on what should have been a routine out.

Weaver gave up no more than one run for the third time in four starts. His earned-run average this month: 3.57.

I'm not getting too excited, but it seems like he is hitting 85 a lot more frequently, and his makeup on the mound is still phenomenal.

I'm warming to the idea of having him back next year as the #5, at least for the start of the year. It would buy us some time to address other needs this offseason.

I give the Angels props because despite all the discouragement of injuries and losses they keep fighting back.

haha, just watched the highlights.  That was a frigging little league throw by Hanley.

Weave was really solid (no XBH's) against a really good lineup.    His recent pitching is encouraging, especially if the Halos need to re-sign him for only 2017 while getting the rotation in order for 2018.

HanRam's Bad News Bears throw was pure gold.   I think some of us could have gotten the ball closer to the catcher's mitt.    Even more pure gold, because he had time to make the throw instead of rushing it, and still have a chance at the home to 1B game ending DP.
