Speaking of which, Raul Mondesi Jr. definitely seemed nervous in his MLB debut for the Royals.    Royals going in the other direction, not looking good for post-season play in 2016.

Be thankful he isn't having a Harper type slump. It started in late May, and he hasn't come out of it as of yet. He was hitting .286/.406/.714/1.121 on May 1st. after going 0 for 4 today and 1 for his last 13, his slash line is .237/.377/.453/.830. Now that's a slump for the ages. He is no longer in the conversation as the best player in baseball. He was called the best by some, as late as mid April, after having that MVP season last year.

For Trout not to hit .300 this year, to finish .299 or lower, he'll have to hit around .275 for the rest of the year, which is quite possible considering he has a career BA of around .278 from August on.
