I wouldn't blame him though. Two years gone, you don't want to rush things.

 

With the way Shoe, and Hector are throwing and if Skaggs is for real, we have three quality starters for next season. Pitching is hard to come by and if we trade Santiago, we will just have to replace him some how. Trade Escobar for prospects while his value is high.

We need to keep Trout, Kole, Simmons, and Cron along with our 3 best pitchers. We need to sign at least 1 pitcher in the off season without trading what we have now.

If I understood Gubi correctly, 13-0 is the highest-scoring shutout the Angels have ever laid on KC.

5-for-5 from Escobar and a triple short of a cycle for Perez. Among many other stats.

Reyes was injured tonight for the Mets, and that may bring them back into the Escobar market.

Would love to try and get Nimmo and Cecchini for Escobar and Smith/Street, probably another solid Halo prospect going back.

Ironically, this was Shoe's rotation spot if Skaggs wasn't returning.

Just what the doctor ordered,  watching a great performance from someone who came all the way back from Tommy John surgery. 

I'm still hopeful of comebacks by Heaney, Tropeano, and Richards is he elects to have the surgery.  That seriously brightens the Angels outlook.
