I guess maybe the season needs to play out a little more but at some point, if Nava isn't traded at the deadline, there is absolutely no reason to keep playing him in a lost season....I get that we may have to keep running Linececum and/or Weaver out there because we have no SP depth.....but we do have other options rather than Nava...bring up Choi or give Marte a long look in LF against left and righthanders....something that involves a young guy...playing a 30 something fringe guy doesn't make any sense to me this year....unless they are hoping he heats up a little and can be traded.....
