Need a handful more scoreless outings from him to lower that ERA and then deal him for whatever. Won't get much for a middle reliever who is on the last year of his contract but still, getting something is better than nothing

Best case scenario is a Fuentes for Loek van Mil type of trade. Any team bringing in Smith would really just be taking an optimistic gamble.
