Might Trumbo be in HR Derby?

That would be so fun to watch. Trumboners for all. He has a legit chance to be voted in as a starter as well. 

Still pretty bummed Jedi traded a local kid with his power but nobody saw Skaggs having injury problems.

Not looking good, but we still might end up winning this deal.  We have a couple more years of Santiago, or we might flip him for something of value later, or Skaggs might come back and give us a solid 4+ years.

And everybody saw Trumbo's horrific OBP and lack of consistency.

I remember a couple of the shots Trumbo hit during the HR derby in KC. A line drive over the CF wall that never lifted off, just straight. The other one, at least by video was by far the longest shot hit during the derby. The metrics were clearly wrong on it, but he managed to hit it all the way atop where the cameras were up the hill.

Guys like Trumbo and Stanton have the ability to deposit balls in parts of stadiums that aren't frequented by baseballs. That's what the HR derby is about for me. Not the amount of the HR's, but the quality. Liners, moon shots and the monster 500 foot types.
