Wow now thats what playoff coaching looks like, they'd been with Boudreau for so long we haven't seen things like a Rakell/Thompson/Perry line in such a long time.

Towards the end of Carlyle's first run in Anaheim he had a semi-rebuilding D-core that was replacing the old guard of Niedermayer, Pronger & O'Donnel. They had a rookie fowler who was rushed too early & Sbisa who just was overmatched. Had they stayed with Carlyle they might have won a cup when that D was rebuilt.
Sorry Boudreau, ur just better off coaching during the regular season & being replaced before the playoffs start.

Btw Ottawa is now up 3 games to 1 over Boston. The 2007 rematch looks to be making it past the 1st round at least.

Is it just me or do the Ducks seem to be completely indifferent to scoring empty net goals ?  I get not wanting to create bad turn overs but they have time and dont take shots. 

Anyway, easy to criticize I guess.

Considering how the Ducks finished the season.  And just swept, without their best dman, and probably a top 4 dman.  And with a coach that will make changes.  I likes our chances against either.  Just as long as Vladdy posts with things don't look good that is.
