Too bad.  I remember seeing his backyard fighting videos on Youtube and thinking that was one gnarly looking dude, someone who could potentially kill me just by looking at me.

Weird, 42 is way too young. I thought it was a hoax that picked up steam last night. If you think about it, he may have been one of the first internet sensations and was viral before people started using the word.

Always pulled for him when he went to the UFC, but just didn't have it on that level. He used to torch dudes underground though.

This is very sad news. By all accounts, Kimbo was a really good dude. He was big on his family. I believe he leaves behind 6 kids. He has put one through college (who is know MMA fighting, I believe) and has three more in high school. The man was able to turn his backyard fights into millions of dollars through endorsements, boxing matches, MMA matches, and even a movie role. 

42 years is way too young to go from heart failure. I fear that steroids were involved as he was just popped back in February for roids. Either way, this is very sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.

Unfortunately I agree on the steroids part. I believe he passed away due to heart failure

That sucks, his YouTube vids were great.

Except the one w the dude's eye, eeeesh.

He was awesome against people without training. But once he faced opponents with even minimal training he couldn't hang.

Seemed like a good guy though all told. Drugs are a hell of a drug.
