The Angels will call up left-hander David Huff to start Tuesday against the Yankees.

Huff signed a minor league deal with the Angels last month and owns a 5.40 ERA and 11/4 K/BB ratio in 11 2/3 innings over three starts with Triple-A Salt Lake. The 31-year-old has a 5.08 ERA over 55 starts and 63 relief appearances in the majors.

There are 5 starting pitchers on the Dl and you are questioning if running a young arm out there on 3 days rest would be bad?

It would be like crossing the streams.
