Weaver is now tied with Clay Bucholz for the highest FIP among qualified starters, at 5.80. He's also the worst in the league in HR/9 and has the third highest xFIP.

When Trooeano returns and Lincecum is ready, Weave needs to go to the pen.

He doesn't fool hitters the 2nd and 3rd time through, and the pen needs all of the help they can get.

Weaver and Wilson are gone next year.  I don't see any way they come back.

 

So our rotation this month is looking like:

Weaver

Shoemaker

Chacin

Lincecum

Santiago

 

Looks like we are spackling a rotation together.  Better hope Lincecum catches fire and Skaggs gives us a boost soon.  Otherwise it appears we will be sellers in July.
