But he was injured and had surgery. See you can't just say I'm hurting and doctors cut you open and start removing pieces of bone. It doesn't work that way.

I know it's irrational and illogical Blarg but I can't shake the feeling for some reason.

Any other threads you wanna stalk me in and attempt to lob weak insults?

Any other threads you want to make dumb statements?

Oh and if Lisalla is a dog then I'd be more than happy to be her Great Dane.

You should listen to our weekly podcast tomorrow. We address this extensively.

Spoiler: it's ludicrous to suggest that he is faking this injury or just doesn't want to pitch.

The guy is 35 and has had 4 surgeries on his arm and pitched a million innings in between (as one of the most durable starters in the majors from about 2010-2015, by the way).

I think it's likely his arm is just shot and/or he doesn't believe he can be effective with what's left of it.

Translation;  you was probably a dougherty@seaburyhall.org when you tweeted him.

I have no idea if this is a phrase I don't understand or just a collection of random letters which, in a highly unlikely result, formed something which was almost possible to comprehend.

I was at the 66ers game when he pitched his first rehab start. He didn't look pleased when he left the mound, a concerned look on his face like something was just not right even though the sparse crowd was cheering him. I think you are right, 4 surgeries, lots of innings, he's at that crossroad at 35 whether he can bounce back or not. If he steps away now he still has had a good career.
