I remember going into the season a good majority of us felt C.J. Cron was the one guy who could help this team crack the playoffs with a breakout season offensively.

I comped him to Shea Hillenbrand when he was in the minors -- same potential to hit for average, same low OBP, middling in game power.    Nothing he's done as a MLB player has really altered my opinion of him.  I don't really understand why his raw power fails to translate, but it just doesn't...   It's good that he attempts to use the entire field, it sucks that he has no apparent clue when to turn on a pitch on a regular basis.    Im hoping the improvement in strike zone management isn't a mirage.

He takes some of the most Ichiro-ish swings I've ever seen by a man his size.

On an offense with Pujols, Perez, Giavotella, Pennington, Ortega etc....on a team with Jered Weaver starting every 5th day and Fernando Salas handling high leverage situations....on a team still paying Josh Hamilton money....you choose to complain about C.J. Cron?

Thats cool. I mean I like to complain about things too. Like I hate it when coworkers forget my birthday. Because in context, that's really important, right?
