When discussing his frustrations with his walks, Blantana said the following, "I can live with myself if guys are smacking the ball all over the place I’m throwing strikes."

Well that's not surprising, considering his "skillset" as a pitcher.

 

He's a guy that's hittable even when he's going "good", but he's normally not walking guys.

 

His normal too many hits allowed + too many walks = an extra helping of pain.

Well he won't need to worry about a thing. He'll be getting smacked around quite often

This sounds remarkably like "I'm a home run pitcher". Whoever coined the name "Blantana" may not be too far off.
