One good sign with this team is they are not getting crushed by the better teams as in years past. They seem to actually play up to the comp for a change.

This is true. Swept the Royals, won 3/4 against the Doyyers. Of course, we also got swept by the worst team in the AL. This team is really confusing.

Or Alvarez. Alvarez gets to come in for tied games or down a run or two and makes the game out of reach. Meanwhile in a somewhat lopsided game he's nowhere to be found. I'd love to know Scioscia's reasonings for what he does with his bullpen. And not just his basic answers he gives to the media

Couldn't agree with you more. Scioscia's bullpen management is my biggest criticism of him.
