RBIs are for homos!

I'm pretty sure I read that here once.

You probably did read that here.  Sooner or later just about every bit of mistaken information finds itself imbedded in the servers of AngelsWin.  Then about a year later some fools dig it out and post it again because they think they found something precious that embarrass the original fools who posted it in the first place.  Usually the original fools are no longer here because Chuck as chucked them.

Exactly...and Escobar.  Its amazing how RBI you can get when you have OBPs of .364, .363, and .425 in front of you.

I know he doesn't get much love on this board, but Albert is taking advantage of the opportunities when those guys get on with .314 BA and a .986 OPS with RISP this season.

I know, I checked the splits.  Just saying it helps the run producer when there are runners on base in front of him.

but the stats @gurn67 provided were showing the %'s of success in those situations. The number of times Calhoun and/or Trout were in scoring position is irrelevant

let's not forget, between them, Trout and Escobar have 111 RBI, so some of those opportunities aren't available to Pujols.

however, it's pretty amazing seeing those OBPs @ the top of the lineup.  last year our leadoff hitters had an OBP of .280
