I disagree with the article. Bethancourt should have acted like he had hit a HR before and started jogging around the bases. I'm sick of these assholes admiring their shots like they are some kind of greek gods (Pujols lol.) If Lackey plunks him next game I will have no problem with it and I can't stand Lackey.

Why? He's a backup catcher on a bad team with 4 career homeruns. I say let the guy enjoy his moment. It was the winning run.

How many here who are pissed at Lackey but thought Jared Weaver had a right to be angry when the Tigers hitter (for some reason I am thinking Martinez) flip his bat after a HR.

 

Personally I think those people who get passed off at an impromptu.emotional reaction need to grow up.  However we do.need to be consistent.

 

The only legit complaint we should have on Lackey is how he treated his wife.

That whole narrative was off. Not my business to post their private business, but that whole thing was blown up by the in laws....and the divorce was in play prior to the diagnosis
