Can't complain about his Ks:BBs ratio, but yeah that 75 pitches in the 4th-6th doesn't help the overworked pen any.

He always has at least one blowup inning. Sometimes the first, followed by settling in to last ~5 and change. Other times it's 4 lockdown innings followed by a blowup 5th then Scioscia bringing him out for the 6th anyway because our blowpen is terrible. But he ALWAYS has a big 35+ pitch inning which (at least so far) has mercifully led to 2-3 stranded runners.

CJ = allergic to quality starts :(

He should know by now that he doesn't have to strike everyone out. It's okay if batters put the ball into play.  With 110 pitches he should have had a complete game.

I trust CJ Wilson to put the ball in play in a manner that is playable for Kendrick / Jimenez / Romine / Trout / Bourjos / Hamilton a lot more than Joe Blanton at this point.
