I thought when Skaggs was injured originally he wasn't expected back till mid May early June.

This typically happens in players that are injured or coming back from injury. Sometimes less pressure on the elbow means more on the shoulder.

Considering that I said our top two keys for the 2016 season were Andrew Heaney and Tyler Skaggs, we aren't looking so good.

Obviously this is premature, but if Heaney's second opinion doesn't go well, and Skaggs continues to struggle to get healthy, then I can't see any alternative to going into a full scale rebuild mode.

The problem is if we are close to where we are now, at or a little below 500, we'll stand pat with maybe a Murphy, DeJesus, Victorino type of deal.....and then we're in the same boat next year.....rebuilding is a hard decision and as a fan, I admit that I will probably bitch and moan about it but, except for some young pitching and Trout, we just don't have much to build on right now....and our 2 best young pitchers are hurt....

Lots of Angel fans seem to have a fatalistic mindset, like nothing good can happen to us, we're snake bit, etc.
