You don't seem to understand how the news is reported.

First and incident occurs and the media responds by sending someone to make inquiries as to what happened, when, who, how, all the basics. Then the initial report is sent back to the network to determine if it is hot topic. Anything to do with a murder, rape, racial profiling and the like get precedence. Then the days stories are compiled by the networks first leads then relevant to the day topics, a little entertainment and the end of the spectrum is the filler stories that just cover in case you have too little real news.

When this story came in the news director decided that it was to follow this compelling story.

 

Unfortunately that was all the time they had for the news cycle.

Interesting.  So, other reports where unnamed law enforcement officials are commenting on what is or isn't in the emails or what email account they did or did not come from are just bs?

Not sure if this is new information or what.  I'm still unclear whether or not the FBI is still waiting for a warrant to search the data or if Weiner has granted them access.

Weird. I literally just watched the Anthony Weiner doc on Showtime that followed his campaign and scandal. They always seemed to be using different devices.
