wasn't a huge fan of his music (always thought he was a really weird little dude) but he was an extremely talented musician. always appreciated that he went to new places musically.

I was fortunate enough to see him in concert at the Forum in LA a few years ago and it was amazing! Dude was killing it, looked like he was a 25 year old. Man, this really blows!

My uncle is a huge Prince fan, me personally, never really saw what the big deal was.

 

I sent him a text this morning after I found this out to offer my condolences, and he texted back "If you ever bag a cougar play Prince" which kinda makes sense. I wouldn't know what to play though lol.

Man, this sucks... Another great musician down in 2016. Prince was one artist I hadn't had the chance to see live yet. Was hoping catch a show the next time he came around.

Somewhat funny anecdote, was at a friends house for lunch today and his wife tells us

" That rock guy Queen died"

I said "who?"

"You know that singer named Queen"

"You mean the singer FROM Queen?.. That was Freddy Mercury and he died a long time ago"

Hey, I live in a pretty hick town..Had to laugh a little when I found out it was Prince.

Well, anyhow.. it sucks. He was extremely talented and completely unique.
