I'm not convinced that the offense is just in a slump. I think some guys just aren't good

Now Albert is a guy that needs to start hitting the ball the other way. The way they load up both the infield and the outfield on him, with his speed, he's got to be the easiest guy to defend against in MLB today.

You're probably right. Obviously Trout has slumped, but the rest of the lineup isn't exactly doing the same thing.

 

Calhoun and Escobar are hitting.

 

Gentry, Giavotella, and Pennington are marginal major leaguers.

 

Cron and Perez don't have a track record.

 

Albert is another year older and has declined every year since 2010.

 

Simmons is as advertised.
