To me, thats how it seems to go for sluggers...which is starting to be what Trout is looking like. They slump, and they start swinging for the fence hoping to break out with a homer. But the reality is their timing is off, and they can't hit crap. So eventually they just start going for singles, get their timing back, and once the timing is back the power takes care of itself. Hoping that this is the beginning of Trout being Trout again.
