Thank goodness that Russia is actually doing something while the U.S. sits on their hands.

I think that's the big difference between Russia and the US.  And this has been since WW2 and probably before. 

 

US will determine and debate what hammer to use, and how much force that will be needed so that the wood would not be damaged before even attempting to hit the nail.

 

Russia will pull out the sledgehammer, and nail that sucker in, and be done with it. 

 

ISIS knows that the US is run by rules.  And they are using it, you can't bomb schools and churches and hospitals.  So all their solidiers are in schools and churches and hospitals.  You can't bomb civilian areas, so they house their troops in civilian areas.  Russia on the other hand gives no quarter.  You hide, they will bomb you out.  They don't give a rats ass where you hide.  Russia will stand up to Turkey and bomb the shit out of oil sales funneled through them.  US and the coalition turned a blind eye to those sales since it was a NATO country.  They only started bombing them when Russia publicly exposed it. 

 

So I'm fine with how the Russians are handling it.  They will clear Syria of ISIS way before the US clears Iraq of ISIS.

Excuse me, but those are drone strikes, which are completely different than air strikes. Completely different!!
