Because the deadline to register was 6 months ago, before the first debate even took place. Not a lot of people knew about Sanders then.

All the states are voting for the same position, they should all vote under the same rules in my opinion. Some states have some really weird rules, and it's stupid.

It is not like this was something new, it has been like this forever.  The same system really helped Obama last election.

 

It is not like the Caucus system doesn't give Bernie the advantage in other states.  His campaign manager should have done a better job preparing for this campaign.
