Need to do a little negotiating, but I would like to hear what everyone else is paying.

I've been paying this for years. Yeah I have to cancel and reup every 6 months but it's worth it.

Even free, I can't stand it. It's not even ad free anymore, and I hear the same goddamn crap I hear on the radio. Even the comedy stations get old. 

 

I Bluetooth Spotify and listen to Adam Carolla's podcasts every day from my phone.

What SOTO said...just keep saying no until they give you the special deal. Though I think it's 25 for 5 months, not 6.

Should bump that thread from last year. NJ, just call and refuse their offer twice and they'll hook you up with $25 for 5 months.

Another renewal.  6 months.  Yes 6 for $25.  

Both of my cars.

Yup, I too called last week to renew, again at 6mo/$25. Talked to a nice Indian lady that seemed to care about my "dire" financial situation.

Call them and ask for the lower rate...just keep demanding it. Tell them it's too expensive. They'll cancel the current $50/6 and give you a prorated credit which you then apply to the $25/6. You'll have to do it for both cars and go through the same script both times....even though it is on the same call with the same person.

I just canceled mine effective July 1. I was offered about a 60% discount over the list price (which I never paid anyway). You can get at least half off if you threaten to leave. I don't know why they make you play the game every year, but they do.

This thread has taught that I'm glad I'm not counting on dividend returns from Sirius stock to sustain me in my retirement years.

I believe that they would have a lot less subscriber churn if they were just honest with their renewal pricing up front. One reason that I dropped my subscription is that I got tired of the used car salesman routine every year at renewal time.

Anybody else know what the special deal rate is for the package that includes the Howard Stern stations?  I get those for my wife's car but the only extras I get for mine are the package with MLB network.

Sirius Select is what I have. 5 months for $25 total. I need to call up this month and get that plan again.

At this point maybe this should be like the radio commercials...if you call and say Angelswin25 you automatically get the 25/6 deal and we get a 10 percent cut.

I just called for the second time.  Asked the guy if we could skip all the BS, I know that after a certain point they'll give me six months for $25.  He made a slight fuss about putting me on hold and talking to another department but he got it done.
