Anyone else think Kole should be higher in the lineup? Most certainly not behind K-ron, maybe batting second ahead of Trout?

I thought he was in the #2 hole a lot more often last year. Strange how he seems to have been demoted to the 6 hole.

They wanted to put him in an RBI position more. His OBP was pretty poor last year, which I think is another reason to bat him lower.

You really need to break up the righty, righty, righty, 3,4,5 guys.  It helps in the later innings when the opposing manager has to make a decision, he goes righthander for trout, which then gives calhoun an advantage.

The way brainiac scioscia has it set up, he makes it very easy for the opposing manager.  Like no strategy needed at all.  Plus maybe Trout can actually steal a base once in a while with calhoun behind him, instead of pujols constantly swinging wildly like hes trying to protect the plate for one of the fastest players in baseball.

I still like our lineup and think we're gonna have a good offense once we get the ball rolling.

we've got the 7th highest hard hit ball rate and the lowest BABIP in all of baseball.  Those will average out.  Plus, we've hit 1hr.

What the offense has done so far is bad luck and out of character.  What the bullpen is doing might not be.
