Were people really worried about the Cubs though? A little bit of championship hangover is common. If they can add another arm by the deadline; they'll contend with the Dodgers this year in the NL.

Of course.  Just like Maddon didn't forget how to manage the first four games of the World Series and then suddenly remember.  If your players are really good you have a really good chance to make the playoffs.

He's hitting .507 in July. And it's the 25th...

Since June 1st he's hitting .420

The rangers started Yu Darvish today (3.2 innings 9 hits, 2 walks, 10 ER and 2 HR) and are losing 22-8.  

 

The box score, as expected, is ridiculous for the Marlins.

Stanton 3-5 (HR) with a walk and 3 runs scored

Yelich 4-5 (HR) with a walk and 4 runs scored

Ozuna 3-5 with a walk, 4 runs scored and 5 RBI

Realmuto 3-6 (HR) 3 runs scored and 3 RBI

even Ichiro is 2-3 with 3 runs scored and 3 walks

Brad Miller would be expendable on any team that likes to win baseball games

Another concern for Boston is Price is very early into a $217 million deal.
