Nope. I think his players just started playing to their potential.

Of course.  Just like Maddon didn't forget how to manage the first four games of the World Series and then suddenly remember.  If your players are really good you have a really good chance to make the playoffs.

Altuve has 37 hits in his last 68 at-bats.

He's the first player to do that since Rogers Hornsby in 1923.

I was just looking up his stats. How is that midget so f'n good?

He's hitting .507 in July. And it's the 25th...

Since June 1st he's hitting .420

The problem is the Red Sox would have greatly preferred a left-handed bat to improve their hitting against RHP. Escobar isn't terrible but Frazier was a lot better option for them. The Yankees damaged them there a bit.

In his first at-bat as a Yankee, Frazier hit into a triple play

The rangers started Yu Darvish today (3.2 innings 9 hits, 2 walks, 10 ER and 2 HR) and are losing 22-8.

The box score, as expected, is ridiculous for the Marlins.

Stanton 3-5 (HR) with a walk and 3 runs scored

Yelich 4-5 (HR) with a walk and 4 runs scored

Ozuna 3-5 with a walk, 4 runs scored and 5 RBI

Realmuto 3-6 (HR) 3 runs scored and 3 RBI

even Ichiro is 2-3 with 3 runs scored and 3 walks
