With Correa out of commission the Angels have a shot at the division title, right?

Our chances just improved sure.  Did the Angels lose ground without Trout?  Who's got the better roster the Astros without Correa or the Angels without Trout?  Hell, who has the better roster the Astros without Correa or the Angels with Trout?  But I sure hope we catch fire.

Astros have a deep lineup.   This isn't the 2015 Astros, slugging but also putting up lower BAs in a lot of the spots in the order.

They will just acquire a starting pitcher and relief pitching to get deeper in those areas.    Besides, 15.5 game leads usually don't evaporate.

Yep, I am sure it would be an underwhelming Escobar for Brock Holt type of trade.

The problem is the Red Sox would have greatly preferred a left-handed bat to improve their hitting against RHP. Escobar isn't terrible but Frazier was a lot better option for them. The Yankees damaged them there a bit.

To be honest they may have more interest in Valbuena possibly.

Dodgers are the first team since the Royals in 1977 to have 30 wins in a stretch of 34 games, and the first NL team to do it since the 1936 Giants. Two of their four losses were to the Angels.

They have a healthy 5-1 lead tonight over the White Sox.

I doubt Yescobar is available for trade yet. Going 3-5 against two division leaders may put selling on hold.
