Philip Humber

career 16-23 record, 5.31 ERA.

0.9 WAR

Still think Scooter Gennett's is crazier.  He had 35 career homers coming into the game, and he hits 4 in a night.

Watching the Rockies for the first time this year, and I can see why they are where they are. They've got some bombers at the top of the lineup.

Blackmon has 2 doubles already and has a streak of 6 games with 2 or more hits. Tyler Chatwood pitching, and pitching well so far.

The Cubs,  with all of that talent, has the same .500 winning percentage as the hapless Angels missing Trout.

Yep, if Scioscia is to blame then Maddon is the worst fucking manager ever.

And going into Friday's game their SoS was .495 .... the Angels .497.    Only bringing it up since it's suddenly become fashionable to talk about SoS around here.

So Maddon, frustrated by his batters being unable to get anything going...juggles the lineup again. This time more radically. Rizzo leading off for the first time in probably forever.

1. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
2. Ian Happ (S) 2B
3. Kris Bryant (R) 3B
4. Jason Heyward (L) RF
5. Addison Russell (R) SS
6. Kyle Schwarber (L) LF
7. Willson Contreras (R) C
8. Jon Lester (L) P
9. Albert Almora Jr. (R) CF

It's now 8-1 Cubs in the second inning Rizzo led off the game with a HR. Happ had a grand slam in the 2nd.

I thought Addison was in jail for spousal abuse.

He was never in jail dude..it was a friend of a friend of his wife on facebook. It was investigated by MLB and if there was anything to it he wouldn't be playing.

Sonny is on a lot of radars. The Astros probably have the most to give, and they are already setting up for the post season, so pulling the trigger on pitching early is probably a good move. Cubs starters have been pretty bad, so they are undoubtedly on the phone every day too.
