It'd sure be nice to see him trying something new for once. Oh, I don't know, maybe shooting a few balls to the right of the field for an opposite field basehit or double?

 

As far as I'm concerned you're a dummy manager if you're not shifting 3 infielders to the left side of the field when Pujols steps in the box.

His average would go up, he would be hitting more singles and doubles and getting on base more.

 

Of course his home run total would be lower so it's hard to see him change.

 

Didn't he try hitting the opposite way last ST and we saw this? Then the regular season started and he went back to his old ways.

It was just against Kazmir, so I guess his hits along with Trout's triple don't really count. If you're going to stick it to him when he disappoints, you should also acknowledge him when he does well.
