I know you're being a smart-ass, Geoff, but she has a much wider appeal than that and could reach demographics that would greatly strengthen Bernie's range: She's young, military back-ground, a minority, not to mention quite beautiful.

 

Regardless, she's very smart and should be a rising star in the Democratic party, maybe a future presidential candidate.

I'd move to Hawaii in a heartbeat.  I'll learn to deal with island time at work if it means adding 10 years to my life.  That said I wouldn't want to have to deal with anyone there in a professional capacity while working here.

I LOVE working in hawaii. Takes forever to get anything completed(no fault of the imported labor, we're there because the locals don't do shit. Which in turn slows us down regardless) and per diem is doubled! Takes a couple days to adjust to the humidity but its great to jump in the ocean and enjoy a drink at the Royal Hawaiian as the sun sets. A good subcontractor could make good $$$ in hawaii. Would be a little inconsistent but businesses will pay a premium for construction efficiency. Problem is you have to do the work yourself, which becomes impossible as you near 50, because the labor pool is shit. Entirely different culture from the rest of America in that regard.[/quote
