I like Trumbo more and more. There are times where it seems he loses confidence in himself, but I like the way he plays the game. I think he should spend some time with Griffen and work on his 1B defense.

One think I like about Trumbo is that he seems really serious about improving himself. This year he seems to have a much smarter approach at the plate. I don't want to speak too soon but I think he may be able to retain at least some of that average. I was thinking .270 or so was about all we could hope for but now I'm wondering if he could hit ~.290 or so.

I never would've guessed that in late April Peter Bourjos would be leading the team in OBP (tied with Pujols) and Mike Trout would be leading the team in GIDP's (also tied with Pujols) 

 

at least the Trumbo news is a pleasant surprise. Very good news. I thought he was lost after his performance last season
