Florida Beach House (New Port Richey) for a Vacation Rental

Chuck

Recommended Posts

Hey peeps, I just recently purchased a vacation house by the beach in Florida but when I'm not there I'm renting it out as a nightly business, as I do another property up here in Ocean Shores, WA.

Anyhow, if you're interested PM me for the details. I'll take 25% off the nightly rental price for all AW.com members. The house has been booked every night since we purchased it in early November and is through February, so if you want to plan a future vacation you'll need to let me know ahead of time.

Two bedrooms, Two Bathrooms, Canal in the backyard for fishing, canoeing.

Here's some pics of the area and house.

Love Florida, especially the Gulf Coast. Beautiful area

Good luck with the new home Chuck

I know Chuck likes his tubing trips, so I would highly recommend this nearby one:

Looks like fun, I'm going to have to check that out.

I'll be at the house starting next weekend, for 10 days. Cannot wait.

NJHalo,

Did the Weekie Wachee River. What an amazing experience.

Here's some history about Weekie Wachee. http://www.weekiwachee.com/index.php/about-us/history-of-weeki-wachee-springs

This spring water is so clear you can see the bottom and manatees swim beside and under you while kayaking or canoeing down the river. The water is never below 74 degrees. We saw manatees, alligator and river otters.

Here's some pics we took while in/on the river.

Oldest daughter who goes to UF.

Great pics Chuck. I like that first one, where your daughter's kayak looks like it is floating in mid air. Looks fake. Very Tahoe-esque.

You are making me miss Florida. We will be back down for the first week of April, but will be staying in central Florida (Windermere)

There are so many beautiful beaches in Florida. Have fun exploring and finding new ones.

Check out Anna Maria Island one day.

Will do, NJ!

I love Florida. Hope to retire there sooner than later.

The part of FL your vacation home is in is great -- Miami and south FL absolutely effing blows...    Every so often I want to beat my partners for my still being here....

Yeah, Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, FL is for the younger party animal crowds. Tons of crime down there too.

The crime is ridiculous..   Seriously, even in Ft Lauderdale or Coral Gables the random shootings, muggings, stabbings are a common daily occurrence .   There is a ton of corruption in local government too.   People in CA bitch about the taxes, but after living in FL for a while, I can't wait to be back in SoCal paying stupid taxes and enjoying clean streets and having working infrastructure.   It's a good thing it rains as much as it does, otherwise the trash would pile up everywhere.

last time i was in fort lauderdale, i couldn't believe how many people/brothers just simply crossed the streets whenever and wherever they felt like it. was scared to death i was going to hit several of them.
