Los Angeles Rams thread

Perhaps I worded it wrong. I meant I wish defense was a factor in the end. It really looked like no one was stopping either offense in that fourth quarter. It had that feel of whoever had the ball last was going to win. Rams score with less than two minutes left, and everyone is worried that they left too much time on the clock. No confidence in either defense to make a stop at the end when it mattered the most.

I really wasn't validating the Rams Swiss cheese secondary but neither team was very solid in stopping each other. It was down to a couple of blind squirrel picks by the Rams to lock the game up.

I had no confidence they could stop KC when they left them with almost 2 minutes of game time but then KC kept playing to the middle of the field burning their own clock like dumbasses. In the end mistakes are what lost the game for KC. The Rams can't depend on charity when the playoffs roll around.

Looked like a full house, maybe a few empty seats.    That was a game worthy of a full house.

Lou had it half right on my contribution to the thread posts bumping.    As the Fonz would say, regarding Goff, I was wrrrr..   I was wrrr….I was not right!

As for Greg Robinson, nailed it.   Dude became one of the biggest busts in NFL history, for a #2 overall pick.   Tony Mandarich, part deux?

If Jeffy Fisher became USC coach, they will want Lynn Swann fired on the spot.

Update on crowd size?

I looked it up last night because there were no empty seats that I saw outside of the corners. 77k attended last night and it felt like I walked into each and every one of them and the 1k of Mexican hot dog stands outside the gates.

Great experience, but I'll never do that again. I forgot how bad and archaic the Coliseum is with access points and traffic management. Hopefully the new stadium has better flow and access points because last night was rough getting in and out.

Chiefs games get loud, but last night was one of the loudest things I can ever recall being at. I was starting to get a headache towards the end because it was nonstop shouting.

The OL is horrendous. The receivers are absolutely awful. Goff is screwed this year.

When you look at his stat line, you'd think he absolutely sucks. When you look at his actual play, you fully understand the stat line. Seriously, look at film of both his INTs from yesterday: unbelievable.

Look at stat #5 here:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-5-pff-stats-you-need-to-know-from-nfl-week-13/

He's used to pressure. His first year at Cal he had his ass handed to him on a regular basis, but he had receivers that could actually catch passes.

He'd be doing much better if he were on another team. The least the Rams could do would be to get guys that can catch the ball and not have the worst OL in the history of bad OLs.

Fisher blows.

Funny thing is that was exactly what I did. I knew getting an Uber by the stadium was impossible so I convinced the lady to go basically two blocks west of Vermont and Exposition. About a block in the better half stops and says, "I don't know if we should go any farther." I told her, "It's cool, I actually have looked at the gang maps out here before."

While that is true, I don't really remember much outside street names and when we hit Raymond it dawned on me that was I decked out in all red for the Chiefs. By Normandie I stopped and said, "Yeah....I think this is going to be the pickup point."

Pretty sure we were walking through Crip territory in red because I remember seeing Jefferson, MLK, and Hoover in the area on the map. The Uber driver gets there and he's this meek Middle Eastern college aged kid listening to some kind of meditation music. I usually chat with the drivers and ask them where they are from or where they normally drive and he simply says, "Not here."
