Is it me, or does Trout look different?

So he will now be lazy and not care anymore

Trout is earning his money. If he stays healthy and continues to play great until his contract expires look for him to go to the highest bidder. That's the reality. It will someday be about money but he's worked his tail off to put himself in that position.

You say that someday it will be about money yet three of the guys you rail on here didn't go to the highest bidder. Albert was offered more in Florida as was CJ Wilson and Weaver took a home town discount. You know it can be about money and yet they still play to the best of their current ability.

For Pujols it was more about knowing that he was destined to become a DH. Wilson and Weaver just wanted to pitch near their hometowns. Mike Trout is nowhere near his hometown. I think a lot of things need to happen to keep Trout here. Besides money we need to be a competitive team. We also need a new hitter friendly ballpark which would also help Albert. But you're right, Mike Trout could leave and give the Phillies or the Yankees a hometown discount.

Ok so it wasn't about the money, thanks for coming around on the subject.
