The idiot was talking to some NBA 'expert' and they were talking about the Golden State Warriors.

 

I had just tuned in and I hear Roger say,  "people tell me that the Warriors are boring.  That they just shoot three pointers.  What do you say to these people?"

 

The guest had no idea how to respond, except to say, "I haven't heard anybody say that."

 

oh man...I listen about 1 minute a week, and it is ALWAYS head scratching.

Perhaps you think their incredible shooting will go cold.

Let's not forget there's about 30-40 minutes of silent air on his show. He'll say two words and then pause for 20 seconds. I used to think my car stereo was broken but it was just Rome filling up the airwaves with 0 substance.

Luke Walton is one of the great stories.    No head coaching experience and not much asst coaching experience, and yet they are 23-0 under his direction while Steve Kerr rehabilitates.

Walton has been coaching for almost a decade now.  Remember when he was hurt with the Lakers he was on the bench with Phil.  He is a smart dude.  I am happy for him.

I will politely disagree and say I love watching those players, not the coaching.  I've never seen basketball played like that.

Anyway, the comment was towards the style of play by the Warriors.
