Im not sure it's going to be possible to move Hanley. He isn't the type of player a contending team is going to want to count on. He's a better fit for a rebuilding franchise looking for a bounce back candidate on the cheap who can be traded near the deadline for prospects. Unfortunately with that salary there is no reason for a low payroll team to come anywhere close.

 

The Red Sox will likely have to pay almost all of his salary, or swap a bad contract. If I'm the Angels I'd take a look at around $6 or 7m if I thought he could potentially play 3rd. If not I might take him at $2-3m if I thought he could cover 1B better than Cron.
