Serious question, did fans look at OBP back in the mid 70's? Also I remember Mickey Rivers, but not sure I remember him as an Angel, I would have only been about 4 or 5. I haven't heard of the other two mentioned, Tommy Harper or Morris Nettles.

It may have not been as valued, but the Halos OBP (10th out of 12 AL teams) was pretty bad in 1975 next to the rest of the league, in addition to the total lack of power (last in SLG and OPS).

Harper was in the latter decline of his career by 1975, but once led the NL in runs scored for the Reds in 1965.
Nettles was only here for the 1974-1975 seasons, and then disappeared from MLB.
