If you are going to sign one and lose your top draft pick...might as well go for broke.

I feel like the offseason could go a lot better for us with a different group of guys.  Hopefully the team spends that kind of money though.

i still dont get why people are predicting us going for a 2B and a LF.   We have other needs.  

We have a hole at 3B, not 2B,  and JG may not be an allstar but he got the job done... Unless you are certain Murphy can handle 3B you dont go down that road...   and you darn sure dont pay for what he did in the post. 
As much as i like Cespedes i think hes plan B to Gordon as we need a LH bat.  
Kennedy.. dont see the need, not better than what we have .. why spend money there unless we are trading something we have.
In all... i dont think it makes a lot of sense and isnt the choices i would make

If we weren't able to address all our needs, I feel more comfortable going into the season with Gia at 2b than Cowart/Kubitza at 3b.  We have no one for LF, so that is a priority though.

I hope we don't sign any big $$$ free agents. Eppler needs to move forward with a youth movement. Enough with all of the overpays for underacheiving players. I think that Eppler knows a thing or two about that.

I agree. Afterall, 1 team out of the 15 youngest teams in the MLB this year made the playoffs. So obviously getting younger is the way to go.
