The 14/6 Ks/BBs ratio is encouraging, to be sure.

I doubt Trumbo will ever be dealt.  He's born and raised Anaheim, lives i the area, came up with the Angels and has been given an everyday job in the Major Leagues with the Angels.  Not that I'm really counting on it, but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the Angels signed him to a relatively team-friendly extension before he reaches free agency that keeps him in Anaheim into his mid-30's.  

 

If they do this, I'd expect them to trade away C.J. Cron, who is going to be awfully valuable pretty soon.  Once he reaches AAA, in that environment he's probably going to hit .320 with 35+ bombs at age 24.  You gotta figure that right about that time, David Price is going to be getting awfully expensive for Tampa Bay and the Angels will be itching to get themselves a World Series before Pujols gets old and expensive and Trout becomes young and ridiculously expensive.  So they'd probably build a package around Cron in return for one year of Price.
